So I just got word that Metro Station is going to be doing a US headlining tour, with Shwayze, Tyga, and Cash Cash. Anyways, I went back to school yesterday, but we have a Hurricane Day today, so no school for me today. I’m going to put up some new content, so stay on the look-out for that. I’m going to post the tour dates you can find those here.

I just got back from a nice mini vacation to Orlando, I was there for three days, and now I’m back home with (surprisingly) no sunburn! Lots and lots of people watching was going on, but sadly Metro Station watching on August 13th during GMA was not going on, because I totally forgot to set my DVR up at home, so I missed it! Did any of you catch it live at NYC? How were they? Anyways, with school starting (on Monday, boo!), I’ve had a hard time finding a chance to update, but today I have added a new ‘Standard Style’ Metro Station MySpace layout, as well as some ‘About Me’ banners, and I’m also going to be adding some content related to Metro Station (some more videos, some more information), so stick around, and don’t forget to check out and join the message board.

Hey guys, I’ve been working on fixing some stuff up, I’ve fixed all the errors in the lyrics, and added a few that were missing, so every Metro Station lyric should now be there, if you notice any errors please let me know, thanks. I’ve also added some neat banners for you to promote the message board with so we can get it really active! You can view these banners here. Also, I’ve added a new wallpaper to the wallpaper section, so you can Metro Station-ize (that’s not a word, I know!) your computer. I’ve added a new DIV layout, under ‘Media’, then under ‘MySpace Layouts’, as well as some MySpace contact boxes also, if you haven’t seen/heard Trace Cyrus got a new tattoo done by Chris Garcia,

Okay, I got so many entries for the first fan of the month, nearly 50, and it was so hard to pick a winner! But, I did, I did it unbiased, based only on what you guys said about why you were their number one fan. I got tons of great responses, some rather long ones, and some short ones, but after reading, and re-reading, and re-reading again, I came to the decision that based solely on their why response that, (drum roll?), JOE is the winner of the first fan of the month at Moving Along! Congratulations! If you’d like to see his entry, it’s in the menu to your left, (<— that way) under ‘Fan of The Month’, as July ‘07! Congratulations again! I’m starting to accept entries once again for the August fan of the month, so apply! And if you applied last time, re-apply! Thanks so much to everyone who entered, I was definitely not expecting a turn out like that for my first fan of the month! Hey guys, thanks so much for all your support, we now have 60 some members on the boards, and over 800 friends on the MovingAlong.Net MySpace! Just a quick update, I had to reinstall the fanlisting script, so I lost all the members, bummer, but crap happens, right? So go sign up again at The Moving Along Fanlisting, which is ‘officially approved’ by The Fanlisting.org, exciting right? On other news, I got some word that there was Shake It remix, my advice, don’t listen to it, please. First off, in my opinion, it’s not even executed well, I mean don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of remixes, when they’re done correctly, an example of one of my personal favorites is the Here In Your Arms -hellogoodbye remix, I think it’s done very well, but the Shake It remix, is just not enjoyable, but knock yourself out and listen to it, it can be found here. I mean keep in mind, it’s my opinion, so if you like it, that’s awesome, but I don’t. So listen to it, and let me know what you think about it!

You might notice, that there’s a new layout, I’ve been working on converting the site to a simpler, cleaner version. With this simpler, cleaner version everything is a lot easier to navigate, if you look in the menu to the left (<– that way), you’ll notice there’s a few sections one named Metro Station, one named Moving Along, one named Media. In each section if you click the little plus sign (+) looking box to the left of it, a menu expands, with everything related to that section in it, in my opinion it’s much easier to browse, and I feel the overall look of the site is a lot cleaner, and more polished. Another new feature would be the ‘Search’ bar enabling you to be able to search all parts of Movingalong now, so you should be able to find exactly what you’re looking for a lot sooner. On each post I make you can add comments, and some pages you can actually leave some input in the form of comments, so check that out and optimize it, I want to know what you guys think about this site because it is about you, the visitor, and what you’d like to see, so never be afraid to speak up! I’m going to be working on some icons, avatars, some more MySpace layouts, glitters, and adding more videos to the videos section. I only have 3 of their music videos, and there’s so much more! Anyways, if you want to get in touch with me, or chat with some other Metro Station fans, don’t forget to join the message board, and add our MySpace for daily updates. Anyways, a quick Metro Station update, they put up some cool new pictures on their MySpace so check them out and leave them some love.
